Membership Information

Wanneroo Adult Equestrian Club aims to provide a safe, supportive, fun, friendly, enjoyable and informative environment for adults 18 years and over. 

We provide access to excellent group tuition from reputable instructors in dressage, jumping and many other equestrian disciplines at an affordable cost for riders from beginners to the more advanced, from green horses to more experienced horses.

Whether you are just starting out, are a competitive rider looking to continue progressing, or you just enjoy the odd pleasure ride, we have something for you. 

It is our sole focus to ensure that all our members enjoy their time in our club with their equine counterpart and leave each rally happy, having experienced a wonderful day. We are a team first and foremost and provide a supportive environment for all our members whatever their goals may be.

WAECI Memberships are open to anyone aged 18 years or over. We have full, associate, and social memberships. In order to attend rallies and compete at ARCA challenges as a representative of our club, you must be a financial member. 

It is our expectation that all members:

- Help with rallies, events and club fundraising

- Carry out jobs as specified on the rally roster

- Attend as many rallies as possible

- Be considerate and courteous to all other members and instructors at all times

- Present at rallies and events clean and neat with tack in good working condition

Membership runs from 1st January to 31st December. Our join up/first rally day will be held on the first Saturday in February and rallies will run through to November. 

Full riding member

• Entitled to ride at every rally in a calendar year
• Represent the club at competitions and inter-club events
• Join in with all social rides/functions organised by the club

$450 per year or EARLY BIRD SPECIAL $370 if paid in full before the February rally

Associate Membership - including our flexi-associate membership

• Come for four full rallies or eight individual lessons; plus
• Join in with social rides/functions organised by the club
• Represent the club at competitions and inter-club events
• If Associate members wish to attend more than four rallies or eight lessons, a pro rata rate can be paid for extra lessons or rallies, so you will never miss out!

$280 per year

Day membership

$50 plus $10 ground fee, payable when booking in. You can only come to two rallies as a guest, after that you will need to join to attend more rallies.

Social member (non-riding)

• Social members are not entitled to ride at club rallies or inter-club events
• Invitation to join social rides/functions organised by the club
• access to members-only Facebook page 

$35 per year

The full and associate memberships cover the cost of all rallies excluding a $10 ground fee (per horse per rally) which must be paid upon arrival at each rally. 

Please note, there may be additional charges for any events held away from our grounds.
